• The coastal tempreatures can get smoulderingly hot but the hilly interior gets a lot cooler especially in the evening. Most visitors come to Uruguay for their wonderful beaches making summer (December to March) a popular time to visit. If you want to avoid the crowds go in the off season as winter tempreatures are not very cold.
